The Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit at the College of Law organized a scientific seminar on Tuesday, February 13, 2024, titled "The Spread of Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances and Prevention Methods."
Participants included:
Asst. Prof. Dr. Abdul Razaq Jassim Mahmoud, Head of the Guidance Division
Colonel Atheer Nasser Madi, Director of the Narcotics Department of the Southern Province
Researcher Omar Ismail Huwaidi from the Community Police Division
The session was moderated by Assistant Lecturer Ashwaq Talib Kassar, head of the Guidance Unit.
The seminar discussed the causes, types, psychological and social impacts of drug abuse, and community awareness methods in light of the increasing threat to individuals, families, and society.
