Message from the Dean of the College of Administration and Economics
Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds, and peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad and upon his family and companions.
The administration of the College of Administration and Economics, along with its faculty members and administrative staff, warmly welcomes seekers of knowledge visiting the college’s website to learn about its academic programs, educational and community plans, and its outstanding infrastructure and facilities that provide an appropriate environment for our students to acquire specialized knowledge in various fields of administrative and economic sciences and their applications.
This is achieved by reviewing the college’s vision, mission, and objectives, which focus on contributing to society by providing the best expertise and specialized scientific competencies. The college is also committed to implementing and promoting purposeful research activities aimed at designing scientific studies in various administrative and economic fields. These efforts rely on accurately diagnosing problems faced by the public and private sectors, analyzing data using scientific methods, and proposing appropriate solutions to the many challenges that hinder the desired progress in public and private institutions. Moreover, the college encourages its academic staff to engage in authorship and translation work, making the outcomes accessible to students, researchers, and those interested. This supports the development of qualified individuals capable of leading various fields of national administration and economics within a transparent environment that is open to global perspectives and benefits from the achievements of contemporary international educational institutions. As a result, our graduates are equipped to work efficiently in both regional and international environments.
This is realized through the academic programs offered by the college. There are four undergraduate programs: Economics, Public Administration, Financial and Banking Sciences, and Business Administration. At the postgraduate level, the Department of Economics offers both Master's and Doctoral programs. In the Department of Public Administration, there is a Higher Diploma program in Security and Strategic Planning, which grants a diploma equivalent to a Master’s degree, as well as a Master’s program in Public Administration. All these programs align with numerous national initiatives focused on administrative and economic development, particularly sustainable development and the administrative and economic reform project. This reflects the vital role of administration and economics in achieving the desired qualitative shift in economic and social development. The college administration emphasizes this area based on the belief that the true wealth of nations lies in their distinguished scientific, administrative, and economic cadres who can wisely and efficiently utilize national resources.
The college administration, in cooperation with the faculty members, continuously strives to develop its curricula and training programs to keep pace with advancements and align with contemporary programs offered by leading global universities. We are committed to expanding the specializations offered by the college to meet both our students' aspirations and the evolving needs of society for modern and diverse disciplines, while also adapting to local, regional, and international changes in the educational and research environment.
We are all proud and honored to be part of this college, and we look to the future with optimism and great confidence. We must recognize that our success is a success for our nation, to which we proudly belong.
