Awareness Seminar on Domestic Violence and Its Impact on Women
In accordance with directives from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research / Minister's Office regarding the organization of awareness seminars and discussions on domestic violence against women, and under the direct supervision of the college administration, the Women's Affairs Unit, in cooperation with the Psychological Counseling and Educational Rehabilitation Unit and the Continuing Education Center, held an awareness seminar titled "Domestic Violence and Its Impact on Women" on Sunday, May 26, 2024. The session was moderated by Assistant Lecturer Ghufran Muhammad, Head of the Women's Affairs Unit, and delivered by Dr. Ghaidaa Sadiq, Head of the Counseling Unit. The seminar explored the causes and consequences of domestic violence on women and was held in the central library with the attendance of female faculty, staff, and students.
